During the winter of 2013 we were contacted by Lincoln Gardens Primary school at Scunthorpe. A severe Chafer Grub infestation had resulted in large areas of damaged turf and a very uneven surface. Having agreed a programme of works we treated the infestation Spring 2014 and then in mid July returned to cultivate under the old turf, prepare, level and re-seeding the playing field.

The seeding work was completed on the 18th of July, just in time for a spell of wet weather the following weekend. First cut was completed just over 4 weeks from the seeding date on 20th August. We then carried out a further 6 cuts, fertiliser application and selective weed spray before handing the completed field over  early October 2014.
